TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO UGANDAN NATIONAL PLANNING FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR A FULL-CYCLE STEELWORKS
The technical assistance provided by Studio 4.e was commissioned by Rina Consulting, part of an international alliance funded by the European Community in 2020 to help African countries with development potential. It was conducted starting from a preliminary analysis of the companies already operating in the steel and energy sector in the area and analyzing the possible exploitation of iron ore of the highest quality present there. The project was based on technically advanced and sustainable methodologies (which can be installed gradually according to a development plan with the necessary infrastructure)considering the integration with the steelworks already operating in the area and evaluating the capacity of local use and export of products.

In 2019 Studio 4.e participated and won the call of the Centro Estero per l’Internazionalizzazione della regione Piemonte (Ceipiemonte) that sought the figure of technical consultant-the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in the area for the integrated supply chain plan in the Clean Technologies sector / Green Sector / Smart Building.
The activity has been carried out in the time window until today with various renewals and has had as objective the generation of business opportunities abroad for companies in the sector.
This through an international strengthening of the single realities of the section through a process of push to the continuous innovation and the aggregation.
EQUIPMENT & PROCESS EVALUATION of HOT SIDE for HIGH GRADES NON ORIENTED ELECTRICAL STEEL PRODUCTION
Study and technological consultancy for the evaluation of steel production plants in the TERNIUM plant in Mexico and basic study for the inclusion of new technological plants and the changes to be made to existing plants in order to produce magnetic steel of high quality for the construction of electric car engines.
The study served to guide Ternium’s investment in the production of magnetic sheet for the construction of high-performance electric motors.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT IN EUROPE
Studio 4.e from 2018 to 2021 procured, followed the commercial negotiation and conducted the negotiation and drafting of the contract for different opportunities in northern companiesIn Belgium and Germany, Somin’s annual turnover totalled 4 contracts for the supply of equipment and services for the assembly of steel and gas turbine plants.
